Support Jerry’s Journey to Walk Again

On Tuesday April 22nd dad had back surgery. That night the nurse came into his room and informed him it was time to get up and walk. His worst fear, he was unable to feel anything from the waist down. He was supposed to go home on that following Friday but due to complications this has put him in an extensive amount of time in the hospital. They have transferred him to a rehabilitation hospital where they have been working extremely hard with dad. Although he received devastating news, he is bound and determined to be able to walk on his own again. He told us in the hospital he is ready to come home to take his grandkids fishing and take his dogs hog hunting! Dad is learning on how to perform basic life skills such as getting dressed, and how to put his socks & shoes on. Mom will be driving back and forth to and from the hospital to get the house ready for when dad does get to come home. The house will need a ramp for his wheelchair and will have to remodel the bathroom for a wheelchair to get through to the shower. Although my parents would never ask of anything we created these funds to help ease the stress.These funds will help with gas, food, medical expenses, and hotel stays. If you can’t give financially please just continue to pray with us everyday for dad to get his strength back and those nerves in his body to just wake up where he can feel his legs & feet again. We are praying & believing for a miraculous touch in dad’s body.
