Urgent Help Needed

My name is Chloe, I started a company called Fel Eur Animal Bedding earlier this year after being unexpectedly made redundant from a position I was previously employed in, in a similar field of work.

I was made redundant from this position just 3 days before Christmas whilst being on stress leave.

Not only did this come as a complete surprise to me, but it also caused me an extreme amount of stress and hardship as I was not paid my severance payments in the time frame they were meant to be paid. I had poured my heart and soul into my role with this company and the company growth was evident. The sales had increased exponentially, and it was now making a profit. Notwithstanding this, I was let go from my position.

I was expected to live without the income which was owing to me. I needed to hire an employment lawyer for their assistance in getting what was owed to me. This took well over a month, particularly due to the Christmas / New Year closures and I was essentially left high and dry with no money.

I am well known in the horse industry as I have been a professional rider. I have a significant number of contacts. I was able to rely on my good reputation and knowledge to grow this company and help make it into a nationally known product.

Needless to say, the hardship and upset I experienced as a result of this, left me with no other option. I started my own company. I am extremely passionate about animal bedding products. I created Fel Eür on my own, in an effort to put food on the table.

Unfortunately, a competitor has now commenced legal proceedings against me. Not only did this company refuse to pay me when I was employed with them previously, forcing me into financial hardship, but it is now attacking me personally and my new business.

This company has an ambassador who continues to constantly defame me and my company. They have even gone to an extreme level of making false accusations against me in an effort to wear me down and erase me from this industry. In trying to take the high road, it has been extremely tough to ignore. The people who know me best, would know that I am a person who constantly fights for the rights and welfare of all animals, I often rescue and rehabilitate animals who have sadly been injured or abused. The defamatory comments made about me by this ambassador is completely fabricated and in direct opposition to who I am as a person.

This is now very serious as I am at risk of losing everything I have worked so hard for. Including our house that our family worked so hard to get. After being flooded last year and losing everything, I simply cannot do it again and be faced with having nothing. I am a mother and a partner, and I feel desperately responsible to ensure a stable home is available for my family, without the fear of it being ripped away.

I worry each day that my family will be homeless because of this action. I have always worked hard, whether it be for myself in my own business, for the company I work in as an employee or in the time that I donate rescuing animals. It is inconceivable that this action is being taken against me, all because I started a business in the animal industry, an industry I am well entrenched in, just to support my family.

I would NEVER ask for something like this unless it was my one and only option. I have yet to present my defence to the Supreme Court, this will give us a FIGHTING chance!

I have a fantastic lawyer and I am very confident that once my defence is presented, we will be in a position to overcome this adversity and action against me.

The funds I am seeking help with are to cover all the legal costs I’ve been forced to face which are increasing by the day.

My aim is, when this legal action is finalised, that I will once again start trading and continue to support our industry and our youth in this industry. This is OUR passion! This is where we dedicate OUR time!

Please, whoever is kind enough or able enough to financially support my plight to come back from this, I would personally aim to pay back every cent when I am back on my feet again. My business began to grow in the short time it was trading and I know my product is loved by those who have had the chance to use it. I need YOUR help to get through this legal proceeding and get it back on the shelves! The wonderful thing about this great country and our great horse industry is consumer choice! We are dedicated to doing our bit for this ethos and I need your help!
