Anyone who knew John knew that he had a priceless smile and an infectious laughter. John has been fighting congestive heart failure for years along with alot of other sicknesses due to his heart. He was on the road to recovery finally, he was a candidate for a heart pump to give some him hope for life . Hoping for the success with the pump , he then would have a much chance at quality in life and be on the waiting list for a new heart.
He did he tests at University of Virginia and was scheduled to be admitted on Monday March 14th. As a man who often said he was fighting this fight for his children sadly lost that fight yesterday . He is in Virginia and his children are in New york , we are hoping to find some help so the burden does not fall so hard on his family. John has been on social security disability and barely making ends meet. His insurance does not cover any costs for his creamation. We are having John creamated and shipped to ny so his remains can be handled by his kids in the fashion he wished for .
