A family in our community is facing an unimaginable situation. For their safety, they have asked that their identities remain private—but their need is urgent and real.
Without a warning, a mother was detained by ICE and transferred to Texas, leaving behind two younger children with special needs. Her adult daughter, already a mother herself, immediately stepped in to care not only her own children, but her two siblings, doing everything she can to keep them safe and together during this frightening time.
Due to increased ICE presence in her mobile home park, she temporarily left her home to protect her family. When she returned, she found a freezing home with frozen pipes and no money for repairs. Right now, one small space heater is being used to warm a single bedroom shared by her and four children.
Unable to work and with rent coming up, this family is struggling to meet basic needs. They are not asking for much—just warmth, safety, and stability during an incredibly difficult moment.
Donations will help cover emergency repairs, rent, utilities, food, and essentials for the children. Any amount helps, and sharing this fundraiser means just as much. Thank you for standing with this family and showing them they are not alone.
