Disabled Veteran needs new furnace

I have served our country honorably for the last 14 and a half years. Recently I was medically retired from the US Army and am facing financial difficulties while waiting for the Veterans Administration (VA) payments to start. This process could take anywhere from 3-9 months. With all of this going on to make things worse, my air conditioner unit went out. Our current furnace is over 20 years old. I have a son that has asthma and am wanting to put in a special air cleaner in the system. That is why I am asking for so much. I know $15,000 is a lot to be asking for and most likely an unrealistic goal, but at this point and time anything helps. I usually do my own repairs and services around the house, but this one is way above my skill level. I am trying to get this done before the temperatures in Kansas reach above 90 degrees, which should be here in the next couple of months. If anyone has any recomendations for AC / heating companies around the Chapman area please let me know. I am looking for a company that will work with financing. My credit sucks at this point and time since I am unable to pay anyhing more than my car notes and mortgage. As soon as the VA starts paying me it will be time to play catch-up on all of my bills.
