The Larus family could use our help in navigating through some difficulties they have recently been going through. If you don’t know Jett, he is the sweetest little guy with the cutest personality and a fun-spirited demeanor. You just want to squish his cheeks for days.
Please consider donating as any amount will help with the unexpected time off of work and help them focus on the only thing that matters right now, which is being by Jett’s side.
A message from Kelli:
Our 18-month-old son, Jett, had been battling what we thought was a lingering cold that just wouldn’t go away. After multiple ER visits and pediatrician appointments, we were finally referred to Cleveland Clinic Children’s for further testing. That’s when our world changed—we learned Jett had a large brain tumor and needed surgery.
The same day we received that news, I went into labor three weeks early with our second son, Carter.
On Good Friday, Jett underwent a 14-hour brain surgery to remove the tumor, which praise be they were able to remove the whole tumor during this surgery. We are so grateful to share that he is currently recovering well and working hard every day in therapy while still in the hospital.
The next step in his journey will take us to Cincinnati Children’s, where he will receive an additional six weeks of specialized treatment that isn’t available here. Once we get clearance from his medical team, we will be temporarily relocating to focus fully on getting Jett healthy.
We are taking things one day at a time and are incredibly thankful for the love, prayers, and support we’ve already received.
