Hi Friends!

Hendrix needs your help. On Thursday July 24, 2025 Hendrix was attacked/trampled by a psycho mother deer. Sadly, this wasn't the first time this year this deer has attacked him, unfortunately this time the poor boy ended up with a badly broken leg which is also fractured in 2 suspected spots. He is scheduled for surgery next week and we need whatever help we can get to pay for it. Currently we are looking at ~$8000 including the initial visit last week which was just shy of $1600.

We know times are tough for everyone and we are not seeking sympathy however I am still cleaning up the financial fall out of Lord of the Pies and not in a place to come up with this much this fast. In addition to and probably for the better, I am off for 4-6 weeks on medical leave, so now we are both down and cannot even enjoy the summer together outside.

Everything we might be able to raise will go directly to his surgery and vet bills and if we can raise more, it will go to his recovery and if there is anything left after that, it will be donated to Critter Aid in Summerland, BC
