HELP A CANCER PATIENT IN NEED

Hello all, Evie is still experiencing problems. Now it is with housing. She couldn't afford where she was living in Florida and has had to try and save money by moving to Idaho.

She was scammed out of an apartment deposit and lost money on hotel reservations when the recent flight problems occurred.

Can you pitch a little in to help her get out of a horrible hotel and into an acceptable domicile?

Hi, this is Scott and I'm putting up this fundraiser for a cancer patient in real need. Our Dear Friend Evie Symonds is having severe health care problems. She urgently needs some help to cope with what's facing her. Everything seems to pile up on her, and bills are unfortunately piling up as well.

My wife passed from cancer 3 years ago, so I know the worry about bills, day to day help. We have a group of friends from around the country and around the world on Facebook and we have come together to try and help Evie out.

She's facing severe cancer in stage 3 or 4, which has most likely already metastasized. While waiting for the insurance company to approve PET scans to check up on her tumors, apparently it takes 14 days for her insurance company to approve it, - and with doctors who are dragging their feet, she's facing excruciating days waiting for answers. She's also experienced a Cranial Nerve 3 Palsy which resulted after she suffered a stroke, she's having problems walking after injuries, and she's also facing other health problems.

And if this weren't enough, her only help at home, her son, was involved in a traffic accident just a few days ago. He was more or less run down. Fortunately, the injuries were not severe, - some minor injuries to his head and other superficial damages. The police officer who came to the accident, however, found that he had an unpaid traffic ticket, which lead them to take him into custody. He is currently in jail on an unpaid ticket of $250, hours away from where Evie lives. This is a disaster to her as she is dependent on him, and she desperately needs to pay his way out. And again, she has only her Social Security, and can't handle this expense.

And finally, suffering from stage 3 or 4 cancer, chances are she won't survive this. And facing such a gloomy fate, she worries about funeral or cremation expenses.

I've told her I'm setting up this fundraiser for her, to see if we can help her out a little bit in her struggles. She's been a Dear friend of mine for years, and I believe she's been the same for many of us. She deserves a little dignity and a little less to worry about.

Money is tight all over, but know that any contribution would be highly appreciated.
