Matthew Westerby Company is celebrating its 15th Year Anniversary! It is a testament to the community that is MWC that we are still here – creating new work and collaborations, performing onstage, teaching in the classroom and working in communities across NYC and beyond.

To celebrate we are launching our 2024 Season GoFundMe campaign! This May 2—5, 2024 MWC will present a season of new works and repertory favorites, including 2023’s Migratory Patterns accompanied by live music, the premiere of City of Ashes with a commissioned score by composers John P. Hastings & Bent Duo (David Friend & Bill Solomon), and Duet X, performed by Dylan Baker and Matthew Westerby a decade after it was first premiered.

As you can imagine, a theatre season is a major undertaking. From paying the artists and designers that collaborate on and perform the work, to costume, studio & theatre rental, lighting rentals, insurance, playbills, marketing, photography… the list is endless! Our GoFundMe campaign will directly support all of these costs and bring our season to life!

MWC’s mission of building community through the arts is on full display this season, with performances by MWC 2, our 2nd Annual Youth Dance Platform for over 100 youth dancers from around NYC & beyond, & an accessible ticket pricing structure to allow our season to be more affordable for everyone.
