Alisha, at 39 years old, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Inflammatory Breast Cancer in February 2023. This cancer is extremely rare and aggressive (only 1%-5% of all breast cancer cases are IBC) and by the time her symptoms appeared, it had already metastasized into her bones and liver as well as her right breast and surrounding lymph nodes.

If you know Alisha, you know that she is one of the most giving people on the planet. As a nurse, her literal mission in life is to heal. As a friend, if you ask for tea, she'll pull out six different kinds. If you need a place to stay, she'll fluff the pillows. If you need a meal, she'll whip up gourmet spaghetti with garlic bread. As a mom to her 3-year-old daughter, she moves the world to make her happy. She bends over backward to care for the ones she loves.
