Support for Cathy Platon

Hello everyone. We’re raising money to help support Cathy - Her kidneys are failing.  It's been a condition that has manifested itself through high blood pressure - her long standing kidney issues (specifically proteinuria since she was a teen) was probably the cause of her blood pressure, and it's in a worsening state. Proteinuria is the presence of protein in urine. 

 On 3/17, Cathy had outpatient surgery to get a catheter in preparation for peritoneal dialysis.  After 2-3 weeks, this catheter will be firmly in place to actually start dialysis at home.  Notwithstanding a miracle, it is expected that she’ll be on dialysis for life or until kidney transplant.

We know it’s uncertain and challenging times, but we’d appreciate any help. This is to help pay for copays/deductibles, as well as the fact that she’ll be out of work for 4 weeks at least.

Understandably this is overwhelming for Cathy, and it’s compounded with the pandemic, so we ask for you prayers for her and Catleia. 

Updated to $7k as I believe that’s her deductible or copay (sorry not sure exact details).
