Help us bury our mother

Cheryl Storm (Allan)  was found unconscious by her  daughter shortly after midnight on 23rd of October. Cheryl was rushed to Thompson Peak Hospital where the Dr's, Nurses and support staff did all they could for our mom. The prognosis was not good, our mom was put on life support, there was nothing medical science could do. Our family savings wiped out with medical bills coming in as well as burial costs. 

Cheryl, a wife, a daughter, a mother and grandmother, suffered from infasema and asthma her whole life, she wasn’t supposed to live past 20….but she did, it didn’t stop her, she powered through life, she went on and had 6 children that she gave her life to.

She faced hardships and struggles, yet she wasn’t knocked down, she carried on, making sure everyone was ok, and putting herself last! But she wanted it that way, she lived for her family.

 Her dream was to live in America, she didn’t give up, she made it happen and we left to go live there! Because she wanted a better life for us all. She did everything for us kids, she made sure we had food, she made sure we had a roof over our heads, she made sure we went to the best schools, she could do anything, she was a powerhouse and no one got in her way to stop her.

 Even though times were tough, she always made sure we had the best birthdays, the best Christmas’s. Anything that was given to her, she gave to her kids. She didnt want or take anything for herself. She was selfless! At times her hold on the apron strings with her kids were tighter that we would have liked, but that is only because the thought of loosing any of us would have broken her world. 

 Her cats were her pleasures, she loved them. She worked hard creating a cattery business that many people and customers grew to love. She dedicated herself and worked hard, even though her body was sore, her chest was aching. She still once again, carried on. Nothing stopped her But god had another plan. It was time to rest, time to put down the tools, time to relax her feet. She is not suffering anymore. God is now looking after her and carrying her.

It’s time for you to rest mom. We know you will forever be looking over us as u always did. We all love you more then anything, and not a second will go by that you are not missed! Your legacy will forever live on. Rest easy

We find ourselves in a position we could not anticipate nor plan for and come to our friends, family, community, friends who have become family for help.
