Hello to my wonderful friends and family!
I am now in my fourth and final semester of nursing school at Butte Community College! My how time has flown! One thing is for certain, I could not have gotten to be where I am today without love and support from each and every one of you. Thank you.
Recently, I have had the privilege of being elected to serve as Legislative Director of the Butte College Chapter of the California Nursing Students Association (CNSA). It would mean so much to me to be able to represent my Butte College nursing program and nursing club at the national level by attending the National Student Nursing Association (NSNA) Convention in Orlando, Florida this March.
At this conference, I would be able to learn from amazing nurse leaders during various workshops and seminars, including "Nursing Ethics and Moral Courage," and I would be able to attain the American Red Cross Disaster and Sheltering Certification. In addition, I would have the privilege of voting as a delegate to bring important changes in the nursing profession to the attention of our lawmakers in Congress.
