Help Pay for Care for Abandoned Baby Donald

Favour is young Nigerian woman living in Ghana. She is homeless and without any source of income. When she became pregnant her boyfriend, the father of the child, ran away and abandoned her. She was fired from her job and wound up homeless, sleeping under a table on the beach in Accra.

Because of the kindness of others, she was able to go to hospital where she gave birth to a little baby boy. The child had some early health problems but he made it though a rough beginning and is fighting hard to make it in the world.

He had his all-important naming ceremony and was named Donald. So now he is no longer just Favour's baby, he is a little person in his own right.

Donald has been in poor health since birth and his mother abandoned him for a time but later came back and he is now in once more in her care. She is very poor, however, and she needs help simply to be able to provide food and shelter for herself and the baby. Of more concern right now, Donald is ill and badly in need of medical treatment. We are trying to raise funds so that he can be taken to a doctor.

Donald needs help to get through this difficult time.
