Everyone at Robinson Secondary School knows Mrs.Hickenbotham. Some like to call her Mrs.H and others call her Mama H. But no matter what you call her or even if you may not know her you should take some time out of your day to read this. Mama H has impacted everyones life who has ever met her. The first time I walked into sub-school 9 I remember seeing Mama H and wondering who was this lady with the dangly cool earings that not only matched her eyeshadow but her whole outfit of clothing as well. I slowly approached Mama H with a fear because I could already hear her loud voice from half way across the hall. I ended up loving Mama H after the first time I met her.But in 9th grade I had a lot of mental and physcial struggles throughout that year. But one day Mama H noticed I wasnt okay and she took me to the conference room and told me "I see you wanting to give up but you can't. Life is worth living and we are put through these BS battles for god knows what. But you can't give up now. You have a purpose we all do..." There was a lot more Mama H told me but I was crying so hard I didnt hear most of it. But the rest of that year after that I found a safe place, a place to call my home, and it was with Mama H in our subschool. I am sure all of you reading this have been impacted by Mama H in away. Weither she impacted you in a tremendous way or she has put a smile on your face once or twice.
