Julie is a dear close friend of mine and client whose hair I have been doing for nearly 10 years now. We've grown extremely close. Recently she just had a beautiful baby girl and found out she has stage 3 ovarian cancer. Unfortunately she will have to do 12 weeks of chemotherapy and will be losing her hair. Her treatments start this Monday ( February 23).And as women that is devastating enough. We recently went to Sharon's wigs in Brookfield and the lady was so sweet and took good care of her. We have found some wigs she liked but obviously they are not cheap.. We would like to get one with real hair so she can do fun stuff with it not to mention it will last her forever! The synthetic ones only sometimes last like 6-9 months. So our goal is to raise at least $2,000 in helping her get the wig she desires and deserves. Julie is going to look into seeing if her insurance will cover some of it but any money we can raise for her during this difficult time would be so greatly appreciated and will touch her heart forever. Thanks to all who have already! Let's make this happen so it can take some stress off her shoulders.
