Funeral expenses for Michael

My father Michael David Hennegan Sr. Lost his battle with covid July 19, 2020 around 6:35am. He fought so hard and it came as a shock when we found out his lungs and heart just couldn’t take anymore. He was such a great man and so strong, he was loved by so many. This is very hard on us all. We want to provide a good funeral for him and we also have to take on his finances.

For those who do not know, my father, Michael has currently been hospitalized on a ventilator fighting severe COVID pneumonia since May 7th. he is now off the ventilator and recovering, This virus has taken a huge toll on his body, his kidneys took a hard hit as well as his circular and vascular system. He will also have to have both his legs amputated they will try to save as much of his feet as they can. He still has a great quality of life ahead of him and has survived a virus that should of killed him.

The financial aspect of his treatment never stops growing as we fight for him to get better. Those of you who know him knows he would give all he had to someone in need, given that he had something to give. To some he is a friend, uncle, brother, and/or son, but to six kids he’s “Dad” and to two sweet little kids, “Pop-Pops,” as their grandfather. His aggressive treatment will continue into the following weeks.

We are hoping to raise $10,000 dollars to help offset him for not working, as he has worked almost 40 years doing the job he loved he will have to give that all up due to his body taking the hit it has and his legs being amputated. we are also having todo many renovations to his home. maybe you cant donate but you know someone who can help in the renovation to help him live a more normal life.

Every dollar counts and is very much appreciated by his family as we hold on to hope that he will continue this fight and return home to us and eventually the life he very much wants to live. It will take about a year for him to learn to walk again and to get back to the things he loves.
