Jazzy’s Journey

Our beautiful niece Jazmyn was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma in April 2017. After 2 years of extensive treatment; surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and immunotherapy, Jazmyn and her family were thrilled to be told in October 2018 that there was no sign of her neuroblastoma.
Sadly three weeks ago, following one of Jazmyn’s ongoing regular scans, and being barely 1 year cancer free, her parents, Tim and Chantelle, were advised that Jazzy’s neuroblastoma had returned, with multiple tumours. Everyone is devastated.
Jazmyn will commence intensive chemotherapy in a few weeks, with an incredibly strong cocktail of medications, in an effort to beat her neuroblastoma. This will be a very intense time for Jazzy, her brothers, Mark & John, and her parents, Tim & Chantelle.
Before her treatment begins Jazzy and her parents are going to Singapore for a happy time pre-chemotherapy.
We would love to be able to help Tim, Chantelle & Jazzy with their holiday expenses, and their ongoing medical expenses once chemotherapy begins. Even though Jazmyn is having her treatment at the amazing Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital, where the majority of her medical expenses are covered, there are still many out of pocket medical expenses, not to mention the reduced capacity for Tim & Chantelle to work.
Many people have asked how they can help Jazzy and her family, if you are in a position to donate anything at all, they would be incredibly honoured and grateful. Please don’t feel any obligation to contribute, but if you would like to, feel free to contribute any amount, whether it’s the cost of what you might have spent making a meal or what you may have otherwise spent on a gift or card.
