The Nicki Keszler Innovation Hub

Dear friends and family!
My brother Nicki believed that computer coding was the future and a great way to make the world a smaller and better place.
A few months ago I shared my plans to honor his legacy by partnering with SPROUT Coding to build the Nicki Keszler Innovation Hub. Today, I'm happy to announce that we finally have all of our paperwork in order and are ready to begin fundraising for this awesome initiative.
SPROUT, an acronym for Science Programming & Uncommon Technologies, is a US 501(c)(3) non-profit that shares the same values that Nicki held dear. Their mission is to use the power of technology to create educational & economic opportunities for students from underserved communities around the world. They are currently operating in Zimbabwe where they've trained 16 instructors who teach 100s of kids every day at 5 schools in the Dzivarasekwa community.
Their goal is to expand community by community. Essential in their plan to democratize and scale access to computer coding is what they've called the, "Innovation Hub."

An "Innovation Hub" is a solar-powered computer lab built out of a recycled shipping container. The Hub is the central place in each community where SPROUT instructors are trained and get to continue their education everyday. From there, instructors go to the schools in the community and teach free coding lessons in the afternoons. The Innovation Hub also hosts classes everyday, as well as technology events & workshops for the community.
This project exemplifies what Nicki loved: travel, technology and giving back. I would be honored to have you join me in continuing my brother's legacy in this meaningful and impactful way.
