Hi my name is Val and on July 10, 2025 I was admitted into the hospital with sciatic pain feeling bloated and zoned out.
They performed many tests, ultrasounds and scans.
During surgery, they found a basketball sized tumor and told me I had cancer. Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer to be exact.
I had to get a hysterectomy at the same time to help prevent any returning cancer in the future.
I was in the hospital a total of 11 days, went home and needed to give myself 4-6 weeks to heal from the surgery. I am now undergoing chemotherapy and will be receiving 18 treatments.
Before cancer, I was working in the beauty industry—I love It because it allows me to make others feel their most beautiful and confident. Helping people shine has always been my passion, and I cant wait for the day I’m healthy enough to return to doing what I love.
Right now, between the cost of living and medical bills that are starting to come in and with a reduced ability to work and earn, it’s been a challenge. I figured I would share my story with you guys and see what could come of it
Your donations would help me:
-Cover medical bills and treatment costs
-Keep up with basic living expenses during this difficult time
-Relieve the financial stress so I can focus on healing
Even the smallest contribution makes a huge difference, and if you’re unable to give financially, sharing my story would mean the world to me.
I miss doing makeup, but I know this is just a chapter in my life. I will get through this and return to making others feel beautiful again.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, support, generosity, and prayers.
With gratitude,
Val
