Colton Ohrn recently turned twelve months old. Like any young baby, he is full of character and always showing off that contageous smile. Colton is from Erie, Pennsylvania was recently rushed two hours to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh by ambulance. He was diagnosed Medulloblastoma Desmoplastic cancer. This is an aggressive tumor that encompassed the majority of his brain.
In his short twelve months, he has been battling this disease without anyone knowing his pain. However, he has truly shown his strength in the immediate ten days following his admittance to Children’s Hospital. Colton has undergone two successful brain surgeries in those short ten days. He is resilient and is currently recovering from this first step in his battle with cancer.
This is just the beginning. Colton’s future with this disease will be a long journey. He will experience more procedures, cancer-fighting therapies, and many more hospital visits to Pittsburgh from his home in Erie. Colton is strong and will undoubtedly battle this disease with vigor. He will be a stronger individual as a result. Unfortunately, strength does not reduce the financial burden of his treatment.
Colton’s friends and family are asking you to consider a financial donation to aid in his recovery. A twelve-month old child battling cancer is an abhorrent endeavor to experience. Financial assistance can help make this recovery less of an obstacle for this young boy and his family. If you cannot make a financial donation, then we please ask you to keep Colton in your thoughts and prayers.
