Support for Danny Austin

My name is Becky Welch, and I am starting this GoFundMe account for my Uncle Danny Austin. For those who do not know him, Danny is a devoted father and husband, trustworthy friend, always quick-witted and funny, and one of the strongest people I know. He is a hard worker who is always the first to lend a hand to anyone in need. Last week and without warning, Uncle Danny suddenly became deathly ill with constant vomiting and high fever. He was rushed to the E.R. last Friday and doctors ran extensive tests to find a source of his illness....after extensive tests for a multitude of possible viruses, a cause was still unknown. On Monday, he was moved to the ICU and placed on a ventilator to help with his breathing and lessen his uncontrollable shaking.  Pneumonia was found in his lower lung and doctors began antibiotics immediately. He is currently still on the ventilator and being treated for a reoccurring fever. Doctors are trying to get him off of the ventilator so that they can move on conducting more tests to finally locate the cause of his mystery viral infection. As of today, part of Uncle Danny's lung was collapsed so they are trying to take care of that before trying to remove the ventilator.

This sudden medical illness has hurt my Uncle Danny and his family both emotionally and financially. With him unable to work and my Aunt having to take off from her job to be by his constant side, both emotions and finances are dwindling quickly. Danny also has 3 teenage children living at home, two of which will begin high school classes next week. They would never dream of asking for assistance, however, this amazing family  needs our help due to expenses piling up. My Uncle does have medical insurance, however the day to day bills and expenses are mounting. Based on what the doctors say, Uncle Danny may be in the hospital for some time. I know that my Uncle and his family is struggling greatly right now, but I am firm in the belief that God will provide for them and comfort them as they travel this rocky road.
