Poppy and her gut issues

Hello my friends,

As many of you might know I have taken on the care of Poppy, Coppa’s sister and Sarah’s pup.

On Sunday night, Poppy began to feel unwell (I’ll spare you the details but think GI) and continued to decline until I took her to the VCA ER Tuesday night.

Due to how quickly her symptoms progress, I spared no expense in tests to ensure she was properly diagnosed and cared for. She was in the ER for two nights with what turned out to be Acute Hemorrhagic Gastroentritris + a possible ulcer + pancreatitis :(

She is home safely now and is doing well, however her bill at the ER racked up quickly from the interventions, tests and medications.

Due to the chaos and pain surrounding Sarah’s passing, and the fact that prior to this Poppy was a garbage angel, we had not set up pet insurance for her yet (and no, Sarah our favourite brat did not have insurance for them…) Rest assured we will have insurance for both pups very quickly now.

I wanted to reach out to mine and Sarah’s community to shave off some of the bill. I realize not everyone who loves me, dogs, Poppy, Coppa, Sarah… are always in a place donate. I appreciate any help at all.
