My sister Elle has been courageously navigating a series of complex health challenges over the past year. What began with a calf injury has unfolded into a more serious and layered medical journey— including emergency visits, unresolved inflammation and autoimmune issues, and the recent discovery of an occluded stent from her car accident in 2021 that doctors cannot currently operate on due to the high risk of arterial rupture. Elle is now undergoing physical therapy and preparing for a neurological evaluation and MRI as her symptoms continue to develop.
Throughout this process, my family and I have watched helplessly as Elle was repeatedly told "we're not sure what's happening, we need more tests.” These ongoing appointments, tests, and follow-ups have not only taken a physical and emotional toll, but have also created a significant financial strain, especially with her consistent doctor’s visits and time away from regular routines, the most significant of which being her job.
I’ve always known my sisters strength, her faith, her deep love for others, and her
quiet determination to keep moving forward, even when things are hard. She’s the kind of person who shows up for people—praying, encouraging, and making you laugh when you need it most.
After extensive discussion with my sister to first ask for and accept help, we are aiming to raise $5,000 to put towards Elle’s medical expenses, transportation to appointments, and the cost of potential future treatments. Any amount helps and is deeply appreciated. Even if you’re not able to give financially, your prayers and sharing this fundraiser with others would mean the world. Thank you so much!
