Mutual Aid Needed: Friend and Dogs Left Homeless After Crash
My friend, who is currently facing homelessness, is in urgent need of assistance.
Recently, they were in a car collision that rendered them without a safe and secure place to live.
They have two service dogs, one of which is pregnant; she is expected to deliver by the first week of January.
Securing a stroller+trailer and an electric bicycle
-or-
a van would greatly enhance their well-being by providing a safe environment for the dog to give birth, nurse, and provide a means for my friend to secure income.
Currently, they are unable to work because they do not have a place to keep them.
My friend's bond with these dogs is profound; they have been instrumental in my friend's survival; fostering them isn’t in the cards.
Despite the challenges, my friend prioritizes the dogs' needs above their own, often sacrificing their own well-being to ensure the dogs are well cared for.
We are reaching out to fellow dog lovers for support to improve their situation.
It would help them:
• secure a job
• provide a safe place for their dog to give birth and nurse
• a means of transportation
Your contribution would be deeply appreciated.
