Hi, my name is Molly and I’m making this GoFundMe on behalf of my good friend Sara Qureshi and her father.

Our fundraising goal of $6,000 will hopefully help with the following:

Sara is the main financial support for her father, who has a number of chronic health conditions. Over the past ~10 years since Sara was a teenager, her dad has experienced many health emergencies such as strokes, heart attacks, and blood clots. In mid-2024, Sara’s father had another stroke which made him unable to work. Shortly after this, Sara and her dad were evicted from their long-time rental unit due to immediate family of the landlord moving in. Housing has been precarious for Sara’s dad ever since, and he has had a number of new health emergencies occur such as blood clots and an emergency toe amputation.

In addition to helping her dad navigate the health care system and pay for physiotherapy and other health services, Sara financially supports her dad while he cannot work. This includes helping with regular monthly bills, groceries, and other emergency expenses. Sara also experiences a number of chronic health conditions that she needs to fund as well as everything for her dad.

Sara is an incredible friend and shows up for her community in so many ways, so I would love if we could show up for her and her family when they need it most. Let’s help Sara and her dad out!
