Hello, this is the mutual aid fund for my friend Katiya!

They've been dealing with a slew of hardships, homelessness, emotional and physical abuse, their car being damaged from a break in, stolen art tablet (main income source is art), and most of their belongings in general (clothing included) being lost or stolen. 

My goal is to get them basic and immediate necessities so they can safely establish a place of living and a source of income to get back on their feet, without the immediate threat of robbery, abuse, or random eviction.

That being said, they live in West Texas, where there's not a litany of options for them as a non-binary individual living with mental health struggles. I've spoken with Kat, and formed a plan with them on how they can get back on their feet. 

The goals have changed since the start of the campaign due to some things just not being possible with the current amount of money they've had at any given time, but currently, these are the goals they're working towards:

-Some form of transportation (even a mid-range bike to get around.

-Hygiene and sanitary items

-Food and basic supplies (i.e. canteen for water)

-A tablet for making digital art.

-Getting a new ID 

-Funds to for rent, phone bill, and animal care expenses for their cat, Kibby.

-A 3-month cushion for bills, food, water, and comfort, to allow them time to secure a job.
