Oly and Petra are trans queer activists living in Southern Appalachia with their kiddo. The family enjoys spending time outdoors and engaging in mutual aid projects together. Oly and Petra recently got engaged (stay tuned for updates!), and the kiddo is getting ready to start 2nd grade! Petra is currently on unpaid medical leave following an urgent major surgery, and is not expected to be able to return to work until mid-July. Oly had been off work for the month of June due to an injury, only to find out when they returned that they had lost all of their hours.

This mutual aid ask is to help this family get through the month of July 2025 financially until Petra is able to return to work and Oly can find new employment. Funds contributed will be used for things such as car payments, insurance, groceries, gas, and other essential bills/items.
