Mutual Aid Request for Family from Gaza

Hi, my name is Dana.

Me and my family have recently connected with a family of six who were able to flee back to Canada from Gaza in November. Although they have been able to find safety, they have lost their home and everything inside it. They left with a moments notice, with only the clothes on their backs and their travel documents. They are starting from zero and we want to help them get back on their feet.

Although they have been able to secure housing and some furniture, we are requesting aid to help them pay for necessities such as groceries, transportation and rent. Their children are currently working but they unable to keep up with costs.

I know myself and many others have struggled to know where to donate, as we don't see anything getting into Gaza. This is a direct action that can help a family that has lost everything and are still dealing with the shock and trauma of the war.

It's has been a privilege to call this family our friends, they have been the most humble, generous and kind people, we want nothing more than to help them be as comfortable as possible during this awful time.
