Our friend, a BIPOC single mother of three, is the sole provider for her family. She has faced persistent challenges with underpaid work and the demands of raising her children, which have contributed to a recent mental health crisis. She urgently needs $3,000 to cover rent arrears and ensure she can pay her January rent to avoid eviction. Additionally, if we can raise an extra $1,500, it will help provide some financial cushion for her family through January, February, and March.

She is in the process of applying for ODSP, but this will take several months, and we want to make sure she and her children are able to stay in their home during this difficult time. This is a woman whose mother was involved in *El Frente* in El Salvador and who grew up as a refugee in Mexico. She and her children are deeply valued members of our community, and we want to provide them with the care and support they deserve.
