Community Support During a Time of Transition
Hi everyone,
It is very hard for me to ask for help. But it has gotten really hard and the stress is taking a toll on my body, and nervous system. This is my second time having to move this year alone. In a short amount of time too. My food snap benefits are being cut November.
This is a deeply humbling moment for me to reach out and ask for **community support**. Many of you know that I pour my heart into **bringing people together** — through healing events, workshops, vending, yoga, sound baths, and holistic gatherings. I’ve always done my best to give back, to hold space, and to help others find healing and connection.
But right now, I’ve hit a **very challenging chapter**. I’m currently being **displaced from my home in Claremont**, and I only had one month to find a new place to live. At the same time, a number of **unexpected financial burdens** have piled up — including **dental bills**, an **astronomically high car registration fee**, and **vet expenses** for my cat.
To make things even harder, I live with **Chiari Malformation**, a neurological condition that causes chronic pain, dizziness, and fatigue. I battle anemia and have to get infusions all the time. On top of that, I recently **injured my knee**, which has made it difficult to continue offering the hands-on **bodywork and healing sessions** that help sustain me financially.
Even so, I continue to show up for my community — teaching yoga, leading workshops, vending at markets, and offering sound healing whenever possible. But with the rising cost of living, unexpected bills, and limited physical capacity, I’ve reached a point where I **can’t keep up alone**. I’ve exhausted all my lifelines and am doing my best to stay grounded through it all.
As I approach my solar return — my birthday —I’m being reminded that community care is a two-way flow. I’ve given what I can for so long, and now I’m learning to humbly ask and receive.
Your donations will directly help cover:
Moving and relocation costs
My cat’s unexpected veterinary care
Dental bills and car registration fees
Basic living expenses while I recover and stabilize
Any amount — big or small — truly helps. And if you’re not able to donate, simply **sharing this campaign** helps as well.
From my heart to yours, thank you for your love, support, and belief in community healing. I’m so grateful for every helping hand and every bit of light sent my way during this time of transition.
With love and gratitude,
NeenaThe Native Healer
