Mutual Aid Campaign for Haitian communities

Tax deductible
Haitians are facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis of unimaginable scale marked by surging gang violence and domination. The population is under siege. They have to leave their homes for fear of gun violence and gang terror. We can count partners, colleagues friends of EqualHealth among those affected by this terrifying situation.

Join us in stepping up to this moment and supporting communities facing internal displacement caused by gang violence and domination. We want to remind you that more than 100,000 people were deported to Haiti from the US and DR in 2022. Developed countries like the USA, France and International Financial institutions (World Bank, IMF) have played a role in destabilizing and extracting Haiti since its Independence. Here is a great resource if you need more information on the history of Haiti and the complicity of the International community.
We all have a responsibility to correct these injustices. Reparations will never be enough to recover from the generational trauma, suffering and the splitted world we created. We count on you to give in a spirit of solidarity and reciprocity.

We're raising $40,000 in mutual aid. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to us.

Since 2010, EqualHealth has been working in Haiti in close collaboration with local institutions to strengthen health sciences education, build critical consciousness and address health inequities and social injustices.
Last year, 6 organizations in Haiti and Uganda received a total of $41,926.92.
The mutual aid benefited more than 22,000 women, men, children and newborns in Haiti and Uganda.
