I know why you are here.

You've been watching me as I keep taking bigger and bolder steps toward my goals, and you're feeling a little tingly about it.

You may be saying to yourself; "How far will this woman go to prove it's never too late to be what you might have been, and what happens to me if she does it? Will that mean that I can take those steps toward my goals as well? Cause I'm already starting to feel like if she can do it, maybe I can too..."

What an incredibe time we live in. You can actually take this crazy ride with me toward my dream of success as an actress, writer and rapper without risking anything, right there, where you are sitting right now,  through your computer screen while you munch on some corn, or an apple, or whatever your snack of choice may be! You can have a snack of your choice! You are lucky.
You can watch me laugh, and cry and succeed and fail and express all those feelings you feel too, and, from the way you be lookin at me - I think you are believing I just might do it. I just might pull this shit off...

Now, I don't begrudge you for being an observer, someone has to be making smart life choices that won't lead you into a weekly state of emotional chaos (acting ain't for sissies), and for like, keeping your day job.

I am gonna ask you to get a little uncomfortable for a second though. I'm gonna ask you to share some of your hard earned money to keep the Cheetham show on the go.

Some amazing things are happening in my career right now. A film I co-star in called Father has just been accepted to the Cannes Film Festival as part of their Court Metrage or Short Film Corner.  A very prestigious honour for all of us involved. MY NAME IS ON THE CANNES WEBSITE. It seems insane to care so much about this stuff, but it's such a big deal to be acknowledged for your artistry in this vast desert of rejection.

I did so much work to prepare for this film. I went deep to develop the character of a woman living with an emotionally and phyiscally abusive husband who not only threatens her, but her young son and unborn child. The filming proces was the toughest day I've ever had on set. The film's writer/director Lella Satie championed me and my work and this film and she has tirelessly been promoting it and investing in this work, and I want to help her take it even further.

(on set still from Father)

This is the little film that could. So far, it has been chosen to screen in 13 festivals and been nominated for 7 awards, including a win for writer/director Lella Satie and TWO best actress nominations for yours truly.

I want to join Lella in Cannes, France May 22-28th (and at Tiburon, another prestigious festival in California) for this experience.

And I want you to join me there too.

As many of you know, I've been doing facebook live talks weekly since January - sometimes for more than 2000 viewers! I've been helping people who are on this road too, the dreamers and creators and eternal optimists who are living their passions. We've been building a community and helping each other through this crazy roller coaster of a life in the arts.

So I'm going to bring them (and YOU) with me to Cannes, virtually, as every day I'll be going live on facebook to talk about our adventures; the parties, the carpets, the hair (I'm gonna talk about my hair cause it's windy there and it stresses me out), and the life changing magical moments that only happen in that magical fucking place.

So I see myself there and I'm hoping you can help me pay for the flight, hotel, hairspray and the occassional bag of buffalo mozarella cause it's next level in Cannes. I'm not in the financial position to cover these costs but if rap has taught me anything it's that 'you only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow, opportunity comes once in a lifetime.'

So I'm gonna find a way to make it there.

I am so grateful to all of you for your support. It all adds up, and if you can't spare a square, please share this with your sugar daddy and ask him to help us succeed in this crazy game (and also ask him for a ticket so we can rock the red carpet together.)

So so much love.
Mandy

P.S. I can't share the film with you yet, but I can share MUTHA so you can have a good laugh and feel empowered about your lady bits (if you have them).

P.P.S. Here are two incredible stills from this beautiful little film of which we speak.

P.P.P.S. Should we raise more than the goal I've set, the balance will go toward some of the other projects I have on the go and which are guaranteed to entertain such as:

* Post production and marketing for Mandy Mayhem's Rapping with Actors.

* Submissions and travel to film festivals to promote MUTHA.

* Hiring a publicist to support our film festival run with Father, and all of my other projects.

* Post production, and film festival submissions on a new film Dale Sood (director of The Right Man) and I have shot.

* Hair dye.

If you're in a giving mood please also consider this campaign which I stumbled across on here to support a truly incredible human :  https://www.gofundme.com/bzeek

All the love.

P.P.P.P.S. If you contribute $250 or above I will give you a producers credit (on IMDb and on screen) on one of the episodes of Mandy Mayhem's Rapping with Actors which is currently in post production and coming out this June on Video on Demand on Bell Fibe in Canada.
