Hello Everyone,

My name is Sophia Manee' Jenkins from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am 34 years old and was just diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, on 12/04/22. The diagnosis came as a blow with a death sentence of "possibly less than a year" without treatment and 5 to 10 years if my body responds well to chemotherapy. My oncologist informed me that there is no cure for the disease, no other treatment options and that I would have to continue treatment for the rest of my life until I ultimately pass away.

This is now my second battle with cancer. Previously I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 29 years old. I have endured surgeries, aggressive chemotherapy and radiation therapy. One can only imagine what it must feel like or be like, to hear such devastating news. However, I chose to remain hopeful and my faith in God says that cancer doesn't win. I chose to continue to fight, which is why I am raising funds, through this fundraiser.

I have decided with the encouragement of my oncologist, family and friends' support, and God to seek holistic treatment. This treatment is not covered by health insurance at all. My holistic treatment plan is a lifetime treatment plan, which is solely funded by out-of-pocket funds. So as you can imagine, I need all the help I can get. Ultimately, I will not be able to work during treatment, nor do I qualify for FMLA. Therefore, I will be at the mercy of donations and God primarily, to get through this journey. 

This is important to me because I am going out on faith and trusting in God to do a miraculous thing with my treatment. I am expecting and petitioning God to blow my mind and the mind of others for his glory and honor. I know that God can heal me of this disease, if it's his will, despite what the medical doctors say. It's also important for me to be an inspiration to others. Having terminal cancer would make anyone give up, lose hope, curse God etc. I want this journey to inspire others all over the world. I can only do that through the help of others.

All funds that are raised by this fundraiser will go to my holistic treatment, herbal supplements, transportation, utilities, rent, groceries, doctor appointments, lab work, hospital visits, radiology testing, and necessities( tissue, paper towels, facial masks, cleaning supplies, etc). I am asking that if you decide to give that all will do so anonymously.

I would last like to ask family and friends who are willing to pray, to do so with me at noon daily. I will be praying for God to remove this illness, for support, encouragement, peace of mind and strength.
