Support Dakota’s Extreme Mustang Makeover 2020

The American Mustang has roamed our lands for centuries and today serve as a reminder of our Nations historic Western past. Yet, their excessive numbers threaten not just the lands they roam on but the health of their herds and overall existence. Management is critical to maintaining these miraculous, living symbols of our Western Pioneer Spirit. The Mustang Heritage Foundation was established to help increase the adoptions of Mustangs through a program known as the Extreme Mustang Makeover. This event takes wild mustangs and places them with capable trainers whose goal is to promote the Mustang and showcase their exceptional personalities and abilities. Dakota has been selected as 1 of 46 Youth Trainers that get the opportunity to train a 1-2 year old Mustang she will pick up on March 15th, 2020 in Murray, KY. She will bring this horse back to Wyoming where she will have 100 days train it. She will then compete at the 2020 Extreme Mustang Makeover Event in Lexington, KY, June 25-27, 2020. This Go Fund Me is an effort to help Dakota with the expenses for the journey both of them will go though in supporting the value and train ability of the Wild Mustang. No amount is too small and posts of Dakota and her Mustang will be on Facebook for everyone to follow.
