Musicians for Lahaina

Hi, my name is Robert Voorhees from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Like many of you, I have been deeply moved by the images of destruction and the horrific stories from the wildfires in Lahaina, Hawaii. I want to do something to help the people of Lahaina and I am asking for your help and your donation so that we can do something together.

One of my great passions is music. I'm not a professional musician, but when I play with our musical family we have a wonderful time and put on a great show. On Sunday, August 27th, I was scheduled to play a solo performance at the Brewhouse Gallery in Lake Park. In lieu of this solo event, I asked several of my friends if they would join me in performing in a multi-performer concert to raise awareness and funds for the vicims of the Lahaina wildfires. They all graciously agreed. We are extremely appreciative of Jo Brockman, owner of the Brewhouse Gallery. She whole-heartedly and without hesitation offered to host the event and pledged her support. Without her, this event could not happen.

Musicians that have donated their time and voices for our show include Scott Teske, Danny Poulos, Tim Henry, Tim Holmes, Matt Granat, Allison Valentine Fernandes, Pat Magee, Rick Conard, Tommy Strauss, Ed Spenser, Linda Kiley, Victoria Humphrey, and Mr. Jimmy Keenan.

Our show will take place from 6-9 PM on Sunday, August 27th at the Brewhouse Gallery, in Lake Park, Florida. Food will be available for purchase from the Surrey BBQ market. They provide a variety of brisket, jerk chicken, ribs and more. If you can't be with us at the show, I hope that you will consider watching us on Facebook Live and pledge a donation to support our cause. All funds raised by our GoFundMe page will be donated to a fund providing emergency relief for the victims of the Lahaina wildfires. Please help us spread the Aloha!
