Hi my name is Colm Brennan and I'm a musician based in Galway City and Country.

My mother Helen was recently diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND) which is a progressive neurological condition that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching the muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting.

MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. It is progressive and degenerative disease and currently there is no known cure.

We want to raise money for the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association (IMNDA) which provides essential services for over 470 families affected by the disease.
