Hello everyone

Firstly, I want to thank all of you for your generous support over the years including the very successful crowd funding campaign we did for my album: Mystic Mood, last year. It really helped make the album a success and I am indebted to you all. We are currently planning the next phase of the launch this autumn and I can’t wait to let you know when it’s all finalised.

I am now asking for your help again…

I went into surgery for a shoulder operation on the 16th of April and this is going to have a massive impact on my career.

Due to an accident 21 years ago, I have had an unstable shoulder which dislocated very easily (but couldn't be put back in easily), it has caused me a tremendous amount of trouble over the years and and I was told that if I don’t get this operation I could likely end up with with arthritis very soon.

Finally after being on the NHS waiting list for a number years, I was given a date for the surgery but due to strain on the NHS it was very short notice. I am incredibly indebted to the NHS for all they are doing for me and others.

Unfortunately, this all means that I will not be able to play clarinet or saxophone for 6-8 weeks and I’ve been informed that I must abstain from playing piano gigs for three months. This is going to have a massive impact on me financially because I make almost all of my living from being a performing musician and half of my gigs are as a pianist.

So I’m asking for a bit of support, my aim is £4000 so that I can continue being a full-time musician, keep my amazing team in employment and also support my young family during this time.

I intend to spend the time composing, singing and working on my right hand piano technique. I will be available to teach lessons online and in person and also for composing and arranging commissions, if anyone is interested please get in touch.

Thank you in advance and I look forward to seeing you at a gig when this all blows over
