Music Mindfulness is a week of events run by Abigail Birch-Price Music, inspired by Mental Health Awareness Week. Scientific research has shown the powerful effect music can have on physical, emotional, mental and social wellbeing, so each day features a new event utilising this power, through creativity, movement, learning new skills and connecting with others. Whether you enjoy listening to music, learning about it or performing it yourself, this week features a variety of written, recorded and live events which are available to all.
Music Mindfulness has three major goals. It aims to:
- Provide direct wellbeing benefits to those who experience the events.
- Raise awareness about mental health and the positive impact music can have on it.
- Raise money for a mental health charity to support their amazing work.
This year we invite you to contribute to our fundraising for Mind, a charity which informs, supports and fights for better mental health. We really appreciate any help you're able to give and hope that you truly benefit from our Music Mindfulness week. Thank you for your support.
