Music instead of Warehouse - my way to a pro music career
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Maté Balogh – and I live for music. More specifically: for drums, for energy, for passion. For years, I've been an active drummer in two bands, spending countless hours in rehearsal rooms, on stage, and in the studio. And yet, my everyday life doesn’t take place in front of an audience or behind a drum kit – but in a warehouse.
I work in logistics – a job that pays the bills but drains me on the inside. While I move pallets, I play breakdowns, blast beats, and grooves in my head. I don’t dream of fame. I dream of living my true calling: music. Full-time.
In addition to playing in bands, I regularly produce albums for other bands – from recording and mixing to the final release. I’m also passionate about sharing my knowledge and teaching others – especially young drummers. I don’t just want to be on stage myself; I want to help others find their own path.
But becoming a self-employed musician, producer, and teacher requires more than courage and passion – it takes startup capital.
With your support, I want to:
- Professionally equip my studio (audio interface, mic sets, acoustic treatment)
- Record and release my first solo album
- Create teaching materials and offer my own drum courses
- Produce music videos and invest in my live setup
If you believe in music, if you've ever fought for a dream, or if you simply want to be part of this journey – thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Together, we can take this step.
From the warehouse straight to the stage.
For the music. For the dream.
Thank you,
Maté
