Music Garden Eagle Scout Project

Hi, my name is Jonathan Meyers and I am working with UCP Bailes Community Academy to complete my eagle scout project. For my project I will be adding musical elements to the new UCP garden, allowing for more students to become engaged in the garden and also giving them a better outdoor learning experience. BCA is the newest campus of UCP of Central Florida, a 501c3 non-profit, tuition-free charter school. Over fifty percent of the student population at UCP has a physical or mental disability which would make this garden mean all the more to the community. I pursued this project because I am involved in band at my school and I want to spread and share my love for music with others in the community. When I learned that UCP was constructing a garden for their new campus I knew exactly what I wanted to do. My goal is to have this project completed by the end of the summer as a nice surprise to students for missing their last quarter of the year.  All donations are tax deductible and any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.
