Music Found Me Again—Now I Just Need to Move It!
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Eliza
Music has been my thread through everything. I started playing piano at 4, sang in choirs, and held onto music even when life pulled me away from the keys—through marriage, family, and years when money was tight.
Recently, I found a beautiful vintage Marshall & Rose upright piano at the tip shop for just $120. It’s from the 1930s or ’40s—an elegant survivor of time—and something in me lit up when I saw it. But the real challenge isn’t buying it... it’s getting it home.
I’m on a disability pension. I live with agoraphobia, which means I rarely leave the house. Music has become more than a hobby—it’s one of the ways I stay grounded, connected, here. A piano in my home wouldn’t just be an instrument. It would be a companion. A daily ritual. A spark I could return to.
The piano is waiting—but I can’t bring it home without help. Professional transport is essential to keep it safe and working, and that’s where the cost comes in.
