I am hosting a charity music evening at the Half Moon, Putney called “Music for Hope” to raise funds for an amazing school and charity organisation in Cambodia. This evening will be held on Thursday 14th august, starting at 7:30pm.

This evening is in aid of a charity called The Hope Agency. The Hope Agency is a volunteer organisation that gives individuals the opportunity to teach English in a small poverty stricken, rural area in Cambodia called Bakod Village. The Hope Agency create positive change in underprivileged communities through education, support for orphans and local food bank families, and creating a brighter future for children. I have recently returned from volunteering there and felt so moved by the experience that I wanted to do more from home.

Therefore, this live music night hopes to raise awareness of the charity through stories, performances from local artists and a raffle to raise extra funds. 100% of the ticket profit and raffle money will be going directly to the Hope Agency.
