"Muse" - CSUN Senior Thesis Film

"Muse," written and directed by Rashad Alton, is a senior thesis short film from California State University, Northridge.

"Muse" centers around a pair of troubled teens who steal a sketchbook from a local artist for a quick buck, only to find themselves thrust into the heart of the artist's dark world. Part drama and part thriller, "Muse" is a 100% student-run project -- CSUN students will direct the action, operate the camera, point the boom mic, decorate the set, edit the footage, and more.

...and that's where YOU come in. As students, we are fortunate to have the support of our university as we navigate the filmmaking process; however, the bulk of the film's funds came straight from our own pockets -- and "starving students" isn't just a trope. We're asking you to help us raise the funds needed to see our project to completion: a mere $7,000 will ensure that we have access to everything we'll need to put our learned skills to use so we can create an award-winning film.
