Deacon Muse Abbay Aschale

Hello,

We are deeply saddened to share that our beloved son, grandson, brother, and friend, Muse, passed away this past Thursday. At only 16 years old, Muse battled leukemia with incredible strength and courage for four months before he peacefully left us.

Muse was more than just a teenager; he was a beacon of light in our community. He touched everyone's heart within the first moments of meeting them. His infectious smile and kind spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him. As a great basketball player, Muse not only excelled on the court but also demonstrated admirable sportsmanship and teamwork. His friends, classmates, teachers, and coaches all cherished him dearly.

But Muse's impact extended far beyond the basketball court. He had a deep passion for the church from a very young age and dedicated himself to serving others in his community. His love for God and his commitment to his faith led him to become a deacon, a role he embraced with humility and grace.

Despite his young age, Muse faced his illness with remarkable resilience and optimism. Throughout his battle, he never lost his zest for life or his determination to overcome every obstacle. He inspired us all with his unwavering courage and unwavering faith.

Now, as we mourn the loss of Muse, we are faced with the daunting task of laying him to rest and honoring his memory. As his family, we are overwhelmed by grief, but we are also grateful for the outpouring of love and support we have received from our community.
