Hi everyone,
This year I’ve set myself a deeply personal challenge for 2026 - I’ll be running a half marathon to raise money for YoungMinds, a charity that supports young people who are struggling with their mental health.
Mental health isn’t just a topic I care about, it’s something I’m living through right now. I’m currently battling depression, and some days are incredibly hard. It affects my motivation, my confidence, and even my sense of hope. But taking on this run gives me something to work towards, something positive to hold onto, and a way to speak up about something so many of us quietly fight every single day.
This cause is also close to my heart because of the people we’ve lost. A family friend lost his battle with mental health, and my grandmother did too. Their stories stay with me, and they remind me how important it is to reach out, talk, and support each other before things feel too heavy to carry.
By running this half marathon, I want to raise awareness for those who feel like they’re struggling on their own, and to show that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. I’m doing this for myself, for the people we’ve lost, and for anyone who’s fighting a silent battle.
Any donation - big or small - truly means so much to me. Your support will go directly towards helping young people get the guidance, resources, and hope they desperately need.
Thank you for reading, donating, and sharing.
