**For Eva, Ana, and Kishi**

To know Carmen was to be loved and cared for by her in her own quiet, gentle way.

On October 13, Carmen died suddenly at home from natural causes. She was just 40 years old. She leaves behind her wife, Eva, and their two children, Ana and Kishi.

Carmen, Eva, Ana, and Kishi are deeply loved by so many people. Together, we want to care for her family the way Carmen cared for the people she loved.

We’re raising money to help Eva with unexpected costs and everyday expenses, and to give her some breathing room to be with Ana and Kishi as they navigate life without Carmen.
