As you may know, Nichole, Aaron, and Ava were evacuated due to the fast-moving Marshall fire that destroyed 1,000 homes in their small town of Superior and Louisville CO. While, they and their two dogs were able to get out safely, they were left with just the clothing on their backs.
As you can see from the videos, most of their street was completely destroyed. Their house remained intact, but has significant interior damages due to smoke and toxic chemical smell which will require removing all contents and complete remediation. The area is still toxic and the burned homes need to be removed before remediation can start on standing ones. The family has home insurance, but are uncertain how much will be covered and are facing a long process. Nichole also has a significant health condition that is impacted and they are hoping to make the house as safe as possible when they are able to return.
Many have asked how they can help, so we have created this page to help them in the days, weeks, and months to come with everyday expenses, clothes, etc. They are incredibly grateful for the tremendous support they have received and their hearts are with the entire community at this time!!
With sincerest thanks, on behalf The MurraySwank Family.
