Murray's Cancer Treatment

Dear friends & family,

We're reaching out to you today with an important update about our sweet boy Murray. As many of you know, Murray, our 9.5 year-old goldendoodle, has recently been diagnosed with nasal carcinoma, an unexpected diagnosis resulting from a lump on his head and persistent nose bleeds. Murray has already undergone several biopsies, a surgery to remove the bump, a CT scan, nasal scope, and series of x-rays to determine the root cause of his symptoms, and is now undergoing radiation treatment for the cancer that was found. As you can imagine, his diagnosis has presented unforeseen challenges for our family.

Murray and his concerned older brother Theo have always been the heart and soul of our household, bringing endless laughter and love into our lives with their playful antics and unwavering affection. Murray is a special boy with a particular ability to brighten any day with his goofy, highly uncoordinated physical presence, and his endlessly loving and loyal demeanor.

Currently, Murray is undergoing three days of radiation treatments in Fort Collins at CSU, where specialists have crafted a treatment plan offering a positive outcome for his recovery. However, this journey comes with significant financial implications, including medical expenses and the need for follow-up appointments to monitor his progress.

We know that Murray has touched the hearts of many, not just ours. If Murray has brought love and laughter into your life, we reluctantly, but kindly, ask you to consider donating to his cause. Asking for help is really hard for us to do, but so many of you have encouraged us to reach out to our amazing community to do so. Your contributions will directly assist with covering his medical bills, which will total around $15,000 for initial diagnostics and radiation treatment alone.
