Murray Family Hurricane Relief

Hurricane Florence severely flooded the home of Todd Murray and his family and now they need our support!
Todd Murray, his wife Rebekah, and their 2 sons, Hayden and Adam, live just North of Wilmington, NC - 14 miles inland on the bank of the Northeast Cape Fear River in Burgaw, NC . Their home was directly in the path of Hurricane Florence, which came ashore on Friday, September 14th as a Category 1 hurricane with 90 mph sustained winds.
Burgaw received almost 3 feet of rain before Florence finally turned South, but the worst of the flooding came days later from the ensuing runoff of rainwater that fell to the East. This "1,000-year event" dropped over 8 trillion gallons of rain, which flooded Todd's home with 6 feet of water - 2 feet inside the 1st floor.
Todd and his family were forced to evacuate to another family member's home during the storm. They are now facing the overwhelming task of removing all of the flood-damaged flooring, drywall, electrical wiring and ductwork from the 1st floor before they can return. The estimated cost of flood damage remediation and renovation will run into the tens of thousands. Since their home wasn't within a designated floodplain the Murray's didn't have a flood insurance policy, and due to income limitations they're unable to receive FEMA assistance. In addition to the loss of their personal belongings and furniture, coupled with the strain of having to evacuate from their family home, the Murray's are on the hook for all of the costs to rebuild.
The Murray's are a proud, hard-working and upstanding family who haven't asked for any help whatsoever. This GoFundMe campaign was created by Todd's coworkers at Alpha Technologies to support our valued teammate. Todd has been an integral part of the Alpha's Carolinas team for over 3 years. The members of Alpha's SE/Carolinas team will be volunteering their personal time over the next several weekends to help Todd rebuild, but we could use your help purchasing materials such as the sub-flooring, sheetrock, ductwork and electrical equipment needed to restore their home to a livable condition.
